International Education Week at 电子游戏软件 starts today!

International Education Week (IEW) emphasizes the importance of increasing knowledge and awareness of the world's many cultures, 人, 和语言. 事件 will be held throughout the month of November. 的 Career Center is kicking us off with Careers in International Affairs Week. 

的 original purpose of IEW was to highlight and bring attention to all the international engagement occurring at BC and put them in one place so that 人 saw the breadth, 深度, and scope of everything international that BC was doing to internationalize the campus.

Dr. Sonia Isidori will be giving a lecture entitled 对印度群岛的渴望 耶稣会士和他们的传教使命 . Sonia Isidori holds a PhD in International Studies at the University of Naples "L'Orientale". She is interested in 全球 History of the early modern period with a particular focus on the History of the Society of Jesus and its missionary endeavor. She is a member of the editorial board of the Digital Indipetae Database. She is currently a research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies.

Graduate students are invited to participate in the inaugural SACRU 电子游戏正规平台 Student Seminar on the theme ‘ A sustainable future: research delivering impact for the 21st century .’ 5-minute presentations will connect students' research with one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the goals of  Laudato si” , Pope Francis’ encyclical on caring for our common home.

Simphiwe Ndzube is a painter and installation artist from South Africa. His artwork tells a story of power and conflict, of apartheid and its afterlives.
