Professor Mitrofanov holds a PhD in Operations Management from Stern School of Business at New York University. His research interests fall into the intersection of data-driven operations, machine learning, and decision analytics, with applications in car-sharing, ride-hailing, retail, among other industries. More broadly, he strives to develop methodologies by combining data analytics with mathematical modeling which could lead companies to make effective operational decisions.
