Cherlie Magny-Normilus博士.D., RN, FNP-BC, FNYAM, is an assistant professor at the 康奈尔护理学院 and a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Dr. Magny-Normilus获得了博士学位.D. from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. 在完成博士学业后, she earned a T32-funded Postdoctoral Fellowship from Yale School of Nursing in Self and Family Management of Complex Chronic Conditions. Through her ongoing National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded research (K99NR019325/R00NR019325), Dr. Magny-Normilus identified barriers and facilitators to self-management of 2型糖尿病 in adult Haitian immigrants. As a health care provider and a health disparities researcher, her ongoing research focuses on developing population-based interventions to support effective self-management and promote quality health care in underserved and minoritized racial and ethnic groups with chronic illness. Her work incorporates self-management activities, community-based participatory research approaches, and innovative digital health solutions.
